- Habitat is an organization doing important work in our community.
- Habitat in Washington County hsa been around since 1989 and we're working on house #45 right now.
- We don't build houses and give them away free – houses are sold to qualified, low-income families at what it cost us to build them. Habitat holds 0% interest mortgage.
- Partner families have to contribute at least 350 hours of their own sweat equity. A lot of those hours are on the construction site, but some of that work is done in the classroom in financial management and home ownership education.
- Washington CountyHabitat homeowners contribute over $50,000 in property and school taxes each year.
- Our 20 years have made a difference for the families who now have a place to call 'home'. Would you consider $20 for 20 years.
